I remember when Dale and Yolanda lived in Hesperia. They had horses, and we were invited to go horseback riding one weekend. Me and Dale ended up riding all the way to Wrightwood. What a journey. It took all day, and Dale gave me pointers on how to ride their thoroughbred. It was amazing because the horse actually had multiple speeds that you could make her go. Dale was a "man's" man. He was a good father, who spoke with pride about his family. He had a no nonsense practical way about him. I have the upmost respect for him.
I choose to believe that Dale went on a journey to the horizon. As Dale goes farther and farther away he starts to diminish from our site, but he is no lesser the man that he always was. He is still the same Husband, Father ,Son, Brother in law and friend that he always was. He is just farther into his journey. As he disapeared into the horizon , I believe that God and the angels said in unison to each other as he came into their view. There he is. There's Dale ..... There he is!
