“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints” (NKJV Psalms 116:15). On January 9, 2019 Richard Dale Bowman passed away at home in Adkins, Texas at the age of 72. Richard was born on August 25, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jewell Dude Bowman and Ann (Matcek) Bowman whom have preceded him in death along with his sister, Jewell Schaefer. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dorothy Ann (Kopecki) Bowman; children, Yvonne Skrzycki (Mark); Stephen Ray Bowman (Yvonne), and Jolene Mullinax (David); grandchildren, Samantha, Victoria, James, Jordan and Alexis; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Zachary and Jace; sister, Sandra Gray; pets, Tom and Jake; grand-pets, Charlie, Kiki, and Yah-Yhas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, 9:00am-10:00am at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.
