On January 10, 2019 Geraldine “Jerry” Mathis passed away in Floresville, Texas just shy of her 92nd birthday. Jerry was born on January 29, 1927 in Houston, Texas to Fred Jackson Snowden and Georgia Lucille (Ashcraft) Snowden whom have preceded her in death along with her husband, Roy Mathis; daughter, Roylene Marie Mathis; and son-in-law, Jim Nabors. She is survived by her daughter, Randy Diane Nabors; granddaughters, Leslie Hughes (John), Dani Hayes (William) and Kylie Nabors; great-grandsons, Jacob Hayes, Joshua Hayes and Easton Hayes; and her extended La Vernia Church of Christ family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, 5:00pm-7:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
