Lorene (Gerlich) Coleman, age 90, entered eternal rest on January 4, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 11, 1928 in La Vernia, Texas to Theo Charles Gerlich and Sophie (Jonietz) Gerlich. Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Coleman; her parents; son-in-law, Steve Essendrup; and granddaughter, Kaylee Coleman. She is survived by her children, Kent Coleman and wife Tammy, and Cindy Essendrup; grandchildren, Chad Coleman, Cheyenne Coleman Rios, Kacey Hall, and Amanda Coleman; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Rios, Caleb Rios, Camryn Rios, Tyson Coleman, Presley Coleman, Madison Hall, and Hunter Hall; great-great grandchild, James Ostler; brother, Theo “Sonny” Gerlich; caregiver, Maxine Getty; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in La Vernia, Texas.
