Adela Salazar, age 56, of La Vernia, Texas passed away at her home with her family by her side on Friday, November 2, 2018. Adela was born in Floydada, Texas on July 8, 1962 to Mr. and Mrs. Margarito and Lydia (Bermudez) Salazar, whom precede her in death. Adela is survived by her husband, Richard Salazar of La Vernia, whom she married on September 21, 2002 in Kirby; daughter, Leanna Garza of San Antonio; son, Joel Garza Jr., of San Antonio; step-son, Ricky Salazar Jr. of Floresville; step-daughter, Desiree Nicole Salazar of San Antonio; grandchildren, Samantha Garza, Aubrey Garza, Lyla Garza, Annalise Garza, Liliana Garza, Nicholas Pacheco, Alexandria Pacheco and Olivia Compton; father-in-law, Armando Salazar; mother-in-Law, Barbara Alexander; brothers, Abel Salazar (Mona), Julian Salazar (Stella), Juan Salazar (Nora) and Alfred Salazar (Rachel); sister, Virginia Nichols (Fred). A visitation will take place Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia.
