Condolences

Condolence From: JoDee
Condolence: I’m so sorry - I just heard the sad news about Michael. We usually called him Mike. I’m not sure if he liked that but he never told me! For about five years now, I played music with my friends at Country Care, and Mike was always there sitting right in front of me. I looked for him every week and worried when he wasn’t there. Michael loved for Alan to sing the song “Stand by Me.” Mike often helped me take my music stand and things out afterward, and he always waited on the porch for his hug. I’m glad I hugged him last time I was there. He was real special to me and I miss him already. I was away this weekend and didn’t find out until today. He kept up with local news and was always quick to share a word with me. I guess I just wanted to say that Mike was a light in my life and I’m going to miss him. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know words can do little to take away the pain you are feeling, so may the God of comfort be with the Meyer family, helping you to cope. Lean on Him in the days to follow, (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17) and read of his marvelous hope for those who have fallen asleep in death, John 11:41-44 and John 5:21. My deepest sympathy.
