Condolence: Norma, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn your mother’s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of visits to my aunt and uncle's home. If I close my eyes and mentally travel back many years, I can still recall the smell of Uncle Norbert's wonderful BBQ wafting through the air. Memory is such a wonderful gift but those little thought-triggers aren’t the impetus for recall; it is those who animated the events with their love, personality, wit, and presence. Such attributes place indelible marks on minds – blessing us with the ability to rewind, at will, snippets of our lives and those who made it special. Aunt Bernadine’s infectious personality – her laughter, candor, and love of family will live on in her absence.
