Vera Y. Reynolds entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 4, 1919 in DeWitt County, Texas to William Edward and Ada Lee (Wainscott) Parker. Vera married the love her life, Alvin Reynolds, on December 23, 1937 in Runge, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Vera is survived by her children, Gordon Reynolds (Billie Joyce), Ginger Nan Reynolds, Dennis Reynolds (Donna), Curtis Reynolds (Shirley), and Thomas Reynolds (Thomas Stephens); grandchildren, Bradley Reynolds, Kristi Tessman (Daren), Jeffery Reynolds (Candace), Laurie Pawelek (Scott), Brandon Leister (Jessica), Natalie Reynolds, Amy Blythe (Adron), Shelly Friesenhahn (Dutch), Natalie Shaw, Christopher Reynolds, and Clayton Reynolds (Kelsey); 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Finch Funeral Chapel- La Vernia.
