Ronald Theodore Toney, 71, of La Vernia, Texas passed away on February 8, 2018. Ron was born on August 23, 1946 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Samuel Theodore Toney and Gertrude Iona (Tewes) Toney. Ron is a veteran of the United States Army and retired from AT&T as a Level 2 Manager. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Gertrude Toney. Ron will be dearly missed by his children, Mike Toney, Ryan Toney (Kelley) and Lauren Nelson (Garrett); grandchildren, Vivian Toney, Vonn Toney, Rosemarie Toney, Kennedy Nelson, and Lexi Corrigan; great-grandchild, Delilah Hartley; sister, Dolores Engelke (Emmitt); nephew, Jeff Engelke (Ronda); great niece and nephew, Baileigh and Brance Engelke; and many friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018, 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
