Carl L. Tindle, Sr., age 83, of Leesville, passed away January 31, 2018 in Luling. He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on September 20, 1934, to Charles Henry Tindle and Charlone (Martindale) Tindle. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bob Tindle and Don Tindle. Carl is survived by his wife of 61 years, Vida (Sessions) Tindle; two children: Carl L. Tindle, Jr., and Darlene Tindle Windham and husband Lee; grandchildren: Kimberly Elizabeth Moreno and husband Louie; Rebekah Lynn Collins and husband Kaleb; Aaron Lee Windham and wife Allison; great-grandchildren: Matthew Moreno, Elizabeth Moreno, Aaron Windham, Jr., and Aiden Windham; brothers: Mickey Tindle and Jerry Tindle; a sister: Sherry Moffett and husband Jim; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family and many friends.

A Visitation will be held Friday, February 2, 2018, from 5PM-8PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 2:00 PM
at Monthalia United Methodist Church, 1926 CR 112, Cost, TX 78614, with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Caraway Cemetery near Leesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
