Condolences

Condolence From: Terrie Leonard
Condolence: I met Richard "Dick" in 1974 when my family started attending Ashley Road Baptist Church and our families did everything together from that time on. It was Dick and Pat and Jim and Rose and all us kids. My memories include going to Landa Park on Sunday afternoons after church, many trips to Astroworld and Six Flags. Sunday evenings drinking milk shakes and eating Pat's famous tacos. The McCombs over at the Finucane's house eating my momma's spaghetti dinners. Playing volleyball and eating watermelon in the church parking lot and many icecream socials! I remember being affectionately called "Little LuLu" by him and later in life just "Lou". He always had a big hug and a smile and a story to tell.....oh how we loved his stories. After sweet Pat went to Heaven, sweet Charlotte came on the scene and the story continued as Charlotte and Richard and Jim and Rose continued on as friends until my momma was called home. My daddy Jim and Richard remained close friends all these years. It makes me think of a song entitled "Friends are Friends Forever when the Lord's the Lord of them." Until we meet again Richard, give hugs to all our loved ones in Heaven and please tell Jesus: "We love you, too!"

Condolence: Dearest Charlotte, Clifford and I were so sorry to hear that Richard has left us. We loved it so much when he would lead the music at our church in Christine. We are praying for you and all of the family. May our Heavenly Father hold you in His loving arms and give you strength and peace. Until we meet Richard again in our Heavenly Home. God Bless You, Sweet Charlotte.

Condolence: Sweet Charlotte, we were so saddened to learn of Richard's passing. He was one of the kindest people we have ever known. His love for his Lord and for you were so apparent in all that he did. We loved hearing his wonderful voice belt out all those amazing gospel songs! We just pray for God to wraps his loving arms around you and your family to provide you comfort and understanding in the days ahead. We are here if you need anything. Just remember to keep his memories close at heart and know you'll see Richard again in that marvelous place we all call Heaven! We love you.
