Obituary for Adela P. Alvarado (Pena)
Adela P. Alvarado, age 77, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her home in Smiley. She was born in Nixon, Texas on January 8, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricio and Maria Madrid Peña; and her children: Sylvia Alvarado, Raymond Alvarado, and Michele Alvarado-Dominguez. Adela is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tiodolo C. “Catfish” Alvarado; her children: Tony Alvarado and wife Charlene, Rick Alvarado and wife Kris, Andrea Alvarado & Michael Mitchell, and Gabriel Alvarado; her grandchildren: Ashley Wylie and husband Jordan, Kalyssa Alvarado, Kaelyn Baker, Juliana Kendrick, Avery Mitchell, Colt Mitchell, Christian Alvarado-Dominguez, and Abby Alvarado; her great-grandchildren: Jaxen Wylie and Emma Wylie; two sisters: Rita Mendez and Flavia Mendez; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family and many friends.
Adela’s family will have a Private Service in her honor at a later date.
