Gary Lane Haas, age 65, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his home near Nixon. He was born in McQueeney, Texas on June 21, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Helen (Krueger) Haas; and his wife, Martha Jo (Hewell) Haas. Gary is survived by his daughter, Terilyn Felty and husband Jonathan of La Vernia; two grandsons: Zachary Ross Felty and Jackson Bryce Felty; two brothers: Tom Haas and wife Ann, William Haas and wife Jan; a sister, Sandra Warncke and husband Roger; nieces and nephews: Ceree Hellums, Seth Klein, Rusty Warncke, Nic Warncke, Monica Gelermo, Amy Haas, and Bradley Haas; his mother-in-law, Frances Hewell; his little dog, Daisy; as well as other loving family and many friends. Visitation will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.
