Obituary for Sylvia Janette Naranjo (Naranjo)
Sylvia Janette Naranjo entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016. She was born October 30, 1962, and was the beloved daughter of the late Severo and Stella (Salazar) Naranjo, Sr. She was a graduate of Yorktown High School in 1981, and has been a life-long resident of Yorktown, Texas. Sylvia was a communicant of St. Luis and Holy Cross Catholic churches. She will be remembered for her outgoing, loving, and caring personality. She was a kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and she always gave to all.
Sylvia is survived by her life partner of 27 years, Donald Stehling. She is also survived by her siblings, Dominga Naranjo and family, Stella Naranjo and family, Jerry Naranjo and family, Severo Naranjo, Jr. and family, Frank Naranjo and family, David Naranjo, Patricia Naranjo-Martinez and family, and her beloved nephew/godson, Patrick Naranjo and family. She also leaves behind other numerous loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00pm, Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, at Finch Funeral Chapel-Yorktown. A funeral Mass will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at San Luis Catholic Church with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Burial will follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank everyone for your prayers and condolences.
