Obituary for Alfred Joseph Padalecki

On Thursday, August 18, 2016 Alfred Joseph Padalecki entered eternal rest. Alfred was born on March 6, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Theofil “Slim” Padalecki and Pauline (Ramzinski) Padalecki. On November 29, 1975 he married the love of his life, Joyce Wilkinson in Moore, Texas. After 37 years of service, Alfred retired as an engineer from Union Pacific Railroad. He was very involved in his community and was a member of the National Association of Retired Veterans, Railway Employees Inc., Knights of Columbus, the Wilson County Car Club, and the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers. He is preceded in death by his parents. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 40 years, Joyce Padalecki; children, Shirley Jean Lominac (Michael), Alfred Luke Padalecki (Marianne), Daniel Joseph Padalecki, Dana Denise Rockowitz (Paul), Daphne Diane Ramsey (Ronald) and Douglas Duane Dygert (Pamela); grandchildren, Chelby, Tyler, Michelle, Dalton, Kaitlin, Lauren, Chase, Casey, Dakota, Blake, Alexander, Desirae, Chance, Ashlee, William, and Abigail; great-grandchild, Kaine; brothers, Ernest Padalecki (Nancy), and David Padalecki (Ruth); his favorite mother-in-law, Zona Wilkinson; sister-in-law, Barbara Benke; brother-in-law, Wayne Benke; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm.

La Vernia, Texas

Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery in La Vernia. Father Dennis Jarzombek and Father Stan Fiuk will be officiants of the service.
