On February 22, 2016 Apolonia “Pauline” (Rangel) Ybarra entered into eternal rest at the age of 81, in San Antonio, Texas. Apolonia was born on April 6, 1934 in Carpenter, Texas to Pablo and Valentina (Ortiz) Rangel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fredrico Ybarra; her parents; son, Jesus Ybarra; sisters, Guadalupe Rangel, Antonia Rangel, Augustina Gonzales, and Nicolasa Gonzalez; grandsons, Fred Ybarra, Simon Martinez, and Gabriel Martinez. She is dearly loved and will be missed by her sons, Jose Ybarra, Adam Ybarra, and Sixto Ybarra; daughters, Esther Cuellar, Linda Rodriguez, Mary Lou DeLeon, Eva Bautista, and Rebecca Ybarra; thirty-four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
