Obituary for Donald Hugh Veatch, Jr.
Donald Hugh Veatch, Jr., age 54, of Nixon died November 30, 2015 in San Antonio. He was born on April 21, 1961 in Corpus Christi. Hugh is preceded in death by his father, Donald Hugh Veatch, Sr. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Carolyn and Wendle Scott; sisters: Susan Rachel Veatch and Cathleen Veatch Kelley and husband Mark; step-sisters: Linda Lou Hovey and Patsy Ann Bundy; step-brothers: Ralph, Ernest, and B.J. Scott; his close friend, Donna Etheridge; aunt, Charlotte Thomas and husband Dave; uncle, Nathan Veatch and wife Jill; nieces and nephews: Heather and her children Caroline Rose and Everett, Cory and wife Gretchen, Moriah and husband Chris, Desiree, Shane, Sunny Dawn and husband Jason; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and his dogs: Bevo, Badger, Toby and Boo Bear.
A Memorial Service to honor Hugh’s life will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at his home, 2652 FM 2922, Nixon, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
