Obituary for Jimmy "Bear" Villanueva
Jimmy “Bear” Villanueva, age 61, of Nixon, TX passed away November 3, 2015 at Stockdale, TX. He was born on August 4, 1954 in Karnes City, TX to Santiago and Pauline (Galindo) Villanueva. He is preceded in death by his father. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Pauline Villanueva of Nixon; three sisters: Linda Garcia and husband Gilberto of San Marcos; Ramona Collingsworth and husband Paul of Arlington; Anita Orenbaun and husband Larry of Aledo, TX; his brother, Joe Villanueva of Euless; and his nieces and nephews: Gina Kriston and husband Kevin and their son Erik of Mansfield, TX; Gil Garcia and wife Theresa and their children Akello and Makeda Garcia of Austin; as well as other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 5th from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel of Nixon with a Rosary recited at 6:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 6th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon with Father Ouseph Kuriakose officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
