Jerome L. Zigmond, 59, of Martinez, Texas went to be with our Lord on April 22, 2014. He was born on April 13, 1955 in Bexar County, Texas to Anthony Peter Zigmond Sr. and Mary Magdalene (Jaksik) Zigmond. Jerome lived in Martinez most of his life and worked for Cummins Southern Plains in San Antonio for 34 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Deborah Neville. Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Linda Kay Zigmond; son, Jeremy Donald Zigmond; daughters, Briana Marie Zigmond, and Madison Linell Zigmond; grandson, Guardian Luther Gonzalez; brothers, Virgil Zigmond and Anthony Zigmond Jr.; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the Paramount and Optum Staff, both of San Antonio, for the love and compassionate care of Jerome at the end of his journey. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in LaVernia, Texas.
